Jake is a Superintendent for our construction division in the Arkansas market! Since joining the Capital team, his dedication and loyalty have helped us prosper in the communities he serves. From tackling challenging projects to working long hours, Jake’s commitment is truly exceptional. A specific example is when Jake, without hesitation, worked 17 consecutive days of 11-13 hour shifts. A true team player, Jake’s consideration for others is evident in everything he does. He’s a selfless individual who takes initiative, ensuring tasks are completed seamlessly. Whether it’s helping maintain tracks and greasing or stepping up as a mentor, his versatility makes him an invaluable member of our team. There are no limits to Jake’s dedication; he fearlessly takes on projects while maintaining a positive attitude!

Cody is a part of the Welding/Fabrication crew for Capital Equipment! As a driver of innovative solutions, Cody is smart and quick to produce an efficient plan to get work done in a safe and timely manner. His commitment to teamwork and willingness to extend a helping hand or guidance is commendable and appreciated by many. Cody’s attention to detail ensures that tasks are completed seamlessly, making him a trusted and valued teammate of the equipment team!

Kevin is a part of the Capital Sand Company team, where he continuously goes the extra mile for the best interest of the company. Although we have seen him embody loyalty every day for the past 12 years, he especially reflected this throughout the past year as he became a key contributing factor in the success of our Missouri City Plant. Kevin spent several months at the plant to learn the new process and keep it running smoothly. His contributions have been invaluable, and we appreciate the positive impact he has had on our team and the company as a whole. Kevin’s positive attitude, attention to detail, and dedication to his team has, and will continue to, make a lasting impact on Capital Sand Company.

Both Darrell and Jacob are a part of the Capital Sand Company team! On June 2nd, 2022, Captain Darrell Calton and Jacob Wise assisted in a water rescue of a capsized canoe in the Missouri River and saved the lives of two individuals. Darrell has worked for Capital Sand Company for 29 years, all of which have been on the dredging crew. He is always very attentive to conditions and situations that he sees while working on the water. Darrell’s attentiveness on this day may have saved the two individual’s lives. Jacob had only worked for the company for a couple of months at the time of this incident. He was new to the river environment and his willingness to help in this situation is commendable.
